In college when you have to buy books for certain classes you need to actually buy them. That could be a requirement in order to pass the class or even to understand what is going on in the classroom discussions. If you don’t have the book, you can be lost and you will probably regret it when the time comes to study for a test.

If you do get the chance however, you should always try to buy used books. They aren’t bad and they are pretty useful. Just make sure the book has no missing pages otherwise you’d go crazy. Used books can benefit you as much as any new book would because they are still the same thing. I unfortunately, could not buy any used books my first term of college because I was really way too late to request for any. But next term is almost here and I’ll be the first to get those used books for a cheaper price.
