Laptop RAM

My little sister’s laptop has been acting stupid lately. I believe one of the RAM cards stopped working and thats the reason the screen won’t display anything. Well I shouldn’t really say “one of the” because there is only one.

My plan for this coming week is to hunt down a cheap but good RAM card for me test my theory. I don’t want to go and spend too much money on a card and then end up having to return it because it wasn’t the memory’s problem. And I also don’t want to buy a really cheap and bad card with low RAM because if it is true, I don’t want to go and buy another RAM card to fit the software and hardware’s needs.
