Proxies help you surf through the internet in a private fashion. This means that you can view any website without the owner knowing your address. But do note that sometimes, some webmasters may have a script just to reverse the IP and check your actual IP through the proxy you are using.

This beautiful software comes with vBulletin. Administrators can now view the real IP of any visitor and user connecting to his forum. This prevents anyone from using a proxy to make a duplicate account and hoping to fool the admin by doing his own crap. I use this with my vbulletin forum and I say to all of you trying to fool the admin, don’t try it, you will only get banned.
