$90 Modem?
Well yesterday I got my Time Warner bill for my cable internet service and I was shocked and angered at what I saw. First it was my regular bill followed by a $90 adjustment fee for losing the modem. When I first got the service I paid a $25 EQUIPMENT FEE and they said if I lose the modem, I will not get the $25 back. But yesterday it was all new.
Yesterday I was told that the $25 was type of a service deposit. But seriously, why would you call it an Equipment fee rather than calling it a service deposit and state somewhere that you have to pay $90 if you don’t return the modem, if it was lost, or if it was stolen. I was really ticked off at this and I still get angry thinking about it. Great business they have.
