Know Your Advisers
Advisers in college give you advice on what you can do with your life for the next term of college. Some colleges call it different names. It can be Deans, Advisers, or even counselors. My collge uses advisers for the first year and Deans for the next three years. These are the people that have been most helpful to me and I know they will be helpful to you.
Next week I meet with my adviser for the first time this term to discuss about what classes I should take next semester. I am minoring in computer science so hopefully I can get some form of computer class because I was unable to get any this term. If you don’t know who you have to go to for help with classes, you can go to your school’s administrative office and just ask for help, its as simple as that.
Don’t be left alone on your own college, campus. Just a tip from a guy that just started up college. Good luck!
