Get Phone Cards
Phone Cards allow us to speak to other parts of the planet at cheap rates. A few dozen years ago, speaking to someone on the other side of the planet would consist of writing a letter and wait a few weeks for delivery. But now you can buy a phone card from places like The Rich Com and speak to someone on the other side of the planet and get connected in just a few minutes and sometimes for just around $5 you can speak for hours and just catch up with friends and family you have not seen or spoken to in a while. I know about this because I have used phone cards in the past and I know I will keep on using them as long as it costs to speak to someone on another country.
There are phone companies that offer “low” rates for calls to certain countries but if you check they may be charging you a surcharge. But if you have a phone card you could be speaking to someone for around lets say $0.02 which is 2 cents per minute and it is all prepaid so you don’t have to worry about going over your rate or what you paid for.
