Renting a car can be exciting when you are off to a far away place and you can not bring your own car. I had to do that when I visited Canada over two years ago. I went to a car rental shop and I had to use my father’s Visa card to actually rent the car for two days or so. This was done so we can go hang out from place to place without having to wave down a cab or wait for the bus or something. And of course the territory was unknown so having a car would help us get from one place to another rather than trying to guess which bus stop to get off at.

Car rental is not that bad if you look at it. Of course the car is not yours so you have to take extra special care of it because you are held liable for any and all damages. And of course you may not know your way around some of the buttons the car may have such as a different style of navigation system but it is great because the car always looks new, or at least the one I got did, and you know that it is much cheaper than using a cab to get from place to place.
