Tomorrow I will be upgrading Gamers Forum to the latest version of vBulletin which is 3.6.9. We are currently at 3.6.8 PL2 which is a patch level that fixes a lot of bugs. And all vbulletin users were notified that 3.6.9 fixes over a 150 bugs and other glitches that remained in 3.6.8.

A month ago around this time we were down for hours and I am happy to say that thanks to a smart move by our host admin we no longer experience the downtime. We have been up for over 20 days now if I counted correctly.

We’ve all been anticipating the release of vBulletin 3.7 over the past few months but the vBulletin staff has hit us with another 3.6 upgrade which is the final version of the 3.6 series, vBulletin 3.6.9. It fixes about a 150 bugs left over from 3.6.8 and unfortunately, my Gamers forum is on vBulletin 3.6.8.

Tomorrow I’ll be upgrading this blog to the latest wordpress version available which is Wordpress 2.5. We are currently on wordpress version 2.2.1 which is pretty outdated. Hopefully the upgrade works fine. I have already upgraded one today successfully and failed at another.
