Do Directories Still Help?
Many people still own directories and it is great that they do because directories are still types of websites with huge potential to be successful. I mean even Yahoo and Google has their own directories, but yahoo Is really expensive that costs around $300 a year for a listings. But there are other free web directories and all of these can only help you get a back link of your choice and help you rank higher in search engines.
Many people believe submitting to directories give them the power to attain more visitors to their site. It is not wrong but it isn’t right either. Directories were meant to provide a good backlink but very few help with traffic. I have actually submitted my forum to at least a thousand directories and even if I got 1 visitor from each a day, I’d be happy. But from those 1000, I’d say I get maybe 5 or 6 hits a day. But directories provide great back link.
