Transferring Domains

If you ever experienced transferring domain from one registrar to another, you should know how much patience it takes. They say it takes 5 to 7 business days and to me, 5 to 7 BUSINESS days means forever. If you have the weekend there it turns out to be 7 to 11 actual days. I am trying to transfer one of my old domains from Moniker over to GoDaddy because the renewal price on Moniker has doubled since I purchased Last year.

A year ago, buying a .net domain from moniker cost you $5.49. Buy it now it costs you over $10 and you don’t even get any special features such as whoisguard and even some other simple features, you have to pay for them which is ridiculous. I transferred my .net over to GoDaddy for just $7.19 including the ICANN fees. That’s more like it if you ask me. Well the transfer is still occuring and with the weekend starting in a half hour, I have a long wait to go.
