iPod vs. Other MP3
I have asked around a few friends if they’d rather have the iPod or any other type of MP3 in the world, besides the Microsoft Zune since it’s already so popular. About three quarters of them have said the iPod and the others have said MP3. This just shows you how well Apple has marketed the iPod and it’s other “i” products. They have made it so people would prefer the iPod over any thing else.
The ones that said the “other” MP3 player, they usually responded with, “it’s basically the same thing, put songs in it, listen to it, and enjoy.” And I couldn’t agree with them more but Apple’s service of warranty and it’s other products makes it very hard for people to make their decision. But at the end when a person has to choose between the beloved iPod and any other MP3 player, the iPod will reign.
Note: This is based on just asking about a 20 or 25 of my friends, not a real survey.
