Hundreds of years ago the only way to preserve meat would be to add salt to it so it doesn’t rot away. Why put salt on the meat to preserve it? Because 200 years ago there were no refrigerators and there was no electricity to power anything, so salt was the way to go. And now thanks to technology, we can do this all with ease.

Getting help from home appliances such as the stove and microwave makes it so much easier for us to cook food and heat up already cooked food.
