Stuck with WP 2.2.1?

Earlier today I was speaking to a friend of mine and explained to him my issues with not being able to upgrade this blog to the latest wordpress version which is 2.5.1. Well he came out of no where and stated that I am stuck with 2.2.1. Although I have not tried an upgrade for a week, I hope he is not correct.

I will be trying an upgrade the day after tomorrow and it will be one of the first things I do right after I check my emails and see whats up with my forum. And hopefully the upgrade will run smoothly otherwise I’ll be very mad at the results.
