Polls Work
I have been a forum administrator f or nearly two years now on Gamers Forum. Before that I have been a moderator on other forums and I have seen what works. If you create polls, people will more likely vote and respond to that thread than a thread with just regular information.
My forum is coming to about 200 polls created with about 10,000 total votes if I am not mistaken. Some of those votes have been deleted due to the big chaos nearly 2 weeks ago. Just create some interesting polls for your forum and see how that goes. I have found that to increase a bit more interest in my members and it seems to work.
